Shirazi Salad

Ingredients:

3 Cucumbers

2 Tomatoes

1 Red onion

2 Tbsp. Parsley, finely chopped.

2 Tbsp. Coriander, finely chopped

¼  cup lemon juice

1 Tbsp. Olive oil

Herbs and spices as per desire

Method:

  • Chop the cucumbers, tomatoes and red onion into small cubes. Add to a bowl.
  • In a small bowl use a whisk to combine the lime juice, and olive oil. Add to the salad ingredients.
  • Add the chopped coriander and parsley.

Nutritional message:

Squeeze a lemon instead of adding salt! Lemon is an excellent alternative to salt, since it can enhance the flavor similarly like salt. In this dish salt was replaced with lemon.
