Overview:
www.namat.qa is an open national and regional public Health educational platform created
by the Healthy Lifestyle Program at Aspetar – Qatar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine
Hospital. It is designed to focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle, creating public awareness
in Arabic communities about diseases related to unhealthy lifestyles and how they can be
prevented, enhancing knowledge about best practice guidelines for physical activity and
healthy eating, and contributing to a sustained change in positive lifestyle behaviours in
Qatar and other Arabic societies.
